Hundreds of years ago Confucius said, “The longest journey begins with the first step” - and how true he was. This applies in everything you do. It doesn’t really matter if you start an online business or an off line business, if you start losing weight, or if you start something else. These words apply to everything in your life.

Some people try to start a business but they don’t do their first step, they always talk and tell their friends that they will start - but it is only in words - the action the first step never comes. What does that mean?

That means when starting something you have to take action - your first step. Without action there is nothing that follows. Or put in other words without action, nothing happens. For example, you like to start losing weight if you only tell your friends and family members that you will start to lose weight day in and day out, you never will lose weight as true as that. In order to lose your first pound you have to take action - you have to start changing your eating habits; you have to start to do exercises and so on.

Just imagine, you want to get wealthy some day or you want to increase your retirement fund because you like to travel, or you like to know other people, or you like to know other culture in other words you want to educate yourself when you are retired but you figured out that you cannot do what you want with the retirement fund you’ll receive. So, you decided to start with a home business opportunity and help to increase your retirement fund. As long as you only think about starting a business but never do your first step for your journey or take action to start your business…you are lost in space or you never will reach any other place in the world or in other words you never will increase your retirement fund.

You can apply this phrase to any other situation in your life and it will always be true. “The longest journey begins with the first step” - and if you don’t take action you never will start your journey.
