Let me ask you a question

Why do so many people believe in all that promises?

Is it because of the economic situation?
Is it because of the overwhelming ads they see everyday?
Is it because so many people believe of some magic things to happen because of the internet?
Or is it because they really don’t understand what the internet can do and can’t do.

Have you ever asked yourself what is the internet?

The internet is nothing more than an interconnected network of highly specialized computers named “servers”. Those servers are made to communicate with all the computers of the world through the telephone line connection, or satellite, or broadband through your cable-TV-connection, or whatever internet connection you have paid for.

You can think of a computer like a telephone when you dial up a neighbor or a person somewhere in the country or your brother or sister in Australia or where ever she is located but instead of dialing a number you click a name in a search engine like Goggle, or a link in your browser window and the so called “server” connects you to whatever your request is. It is almost as dialing a number but instead of dialing you type in words or letters or phrases.

In order that you can read something, or listen to something, or watching to something you have to put it on your server you are connected to or someone has to put it on his server he is connected to and a second or third person has to request it or search for. The only difference between the internet and a telephone is that you don’t have to answer; all that stuff is done for you, by your “server” with other words it is more automated.

Through the advanced technology everything can be converted into digital signal or file and this file you can upload onto a server. Your computer as an intelligent communicating wizard that connects with all servers over the globe within seconds… give you now some kind of idea what he can and what he cannot.

Yes, it is true that the internet is by far the most powerful tool ever invented by humans for communication, for memorizing, processing, and delivering information. And we do not overstate when we say that the internet is capable of doing some amazing good things.

But the internet or your computer cannot do everything it only can do what you tell him to do, cause it is in some way a machine and not a human. You can think the machine not. A machine is only capable of doing things what you instruct her to do.

So, now we come to the next point what the internet can’t do:

The internet can not create money for you out of nothing.
The internet cannot cause money to flow into your bank account…
Only if you do something to earn that money.

Nobody sends you money, unless you give him a reason to do so. When you sell him some info, or some product, or some services, or you show him something he likes to know.
If you are going to make money on the internet, the important thing you need to do is give lots of people good reasons to send their money to you.

So if you’re going to make money on the Internet, the first thing you need to do is give a lot of people a very good reason to send their money to you.

What could be a possible reason?

In my opinion there are only two ways to get people to voluntarily send you their money.

You can trick them – fool them by telling them something that is not true.
Or you can provide people with something of value they are looking for and they are willing to pay for to get that information.

If your choice is to fool people or to cheat them, than it is better not to watch that video and not to click on the link below, because you are only wasting your time. I do not have something to say that can help you. As a business owner you should always tell the truth about what you are selling or offering to people.

With other words you have to receive more than what you would call your own salary (if you like to think in terms of salary). But forget about the term ’salary’.

Unfortunately there is a lot of hype in the online world. There are so many advertisers who offer you like a business model that doesn’t exist. The kind of business model they offer doesn’t exist in the off line world neither in the online world. Okay, you can have a business ready to make money for you. But does that mean that the business make money without doing anything? Just reflect a bit and you’ll notice that no business in the whole world works all by itself.

You have to work, you don’t have to work as much as you work in the off line world…but you have to work. You know I always hear people saying, “Oh, I like to be in your shoes to make money, have no boss, have a different working schedule” (you can work when you want)…but do they really realize that you have to work and sometimes work harder as a salary worker? I guess not. Nobody realizes or takes in account that you also have after your physical work still work to do in your office…the all hated paperwork.

In case you hate it…the paperwork…you can outsource it but this is another expense you have to cover with your business, isn’t it? That’s why an online business in my opinion is a bit– let me use the word ’softer’ I mean you don’t really work physically; you work more with your brain. The better you work with your brain the more success you will achieve with your business.

What does mean you work more with your brain you might ask?

Working more with your brain means, you have to advertise, to promote, to get noticed in the online world that you have a business. And here is the work that nobody is talking about when offering a business. You see the offer and you think like you get a ready-money-making business that sucks money out of the internet and gets it in your bank account. Here is the first fake - the internet doesn’t have money, you cannot suck money out of the internet. Nothing is going on its own. The internet is not like magic and is certainly not ‘Alice’s Wonderland’.

The internet is a business like any business in the whole wide world. You have no customer, you have no business…it is that simple.

Another big Fake…the business is in the list. That sounds pretty good, but what if you have a list full of no-buyers? What does it mean to you if you have thousands of customers but nobody buys? You have customer that want to know how to market and sell, and you offer them a product on how to get slim or how to lose weight? Does that make any sense to you? I don’t think so.

So, how do you solve that problem…you have to target your market or you have to look for a certain niche for your product. You have to offer your product to a market that is looking for solving a problem…their obesity and not how to market or how to sell. Do you get that clear? And I think this is why 95% of people fail with their online business. First of all they don’t have a market and second they might have a product that nobody is looking for.

Through all the Traffic exchanges and safelists it is easy to get people. But this is not the point; the important thing is to maintain the people or customers within your list. You know that a large number of your opt-ins do not buy at the first click…at least not most of the visitors to your site. You need to entertain them and to convince them to buy from you - you have to gain their trust. And this is what is all about a business. If you are a trusted, honest business owner you will have buyers and most of the time it doesn’t matter if your service or product is at a higher price than your competitor’s.

Your customer needs the security that you will help him to solve his problem. If he is looking for something to make money online he needs to be sure that you will give him some good solutions and advice how to do it. You as a business owner are a problem-solver therefore you have started a business, you like to solve problems or you like to help people. Just look at the quote from Zig Ziglar, ” We can have anything we want in life if we’re willing to help enough other people get what they want.”

Read this quote many times until you have it recorded in your brain. If you follow this advice than you are ready or than you have the right mindset for starting your own business. There is another saying, “the more people you help to solve their problem, the wealthier you get.”

A salary worker for example doesn’t care about a problem he is only waiting to get paid for his labor, but you are getting paid for solving a problem. If you cannot solve a problem you won’t make enough money to pay your expenses.

How can you as a newcomer know what hype is or fake? There is only a sure way to get onto a list and see what the person or business owner is offering you. If you are convinced after a few messages that it makes sense to you what the owner is telling you, and the offer is or will solve your problem…than you can buy, if not you have to look up for someone else.

The other day I was surfing on the net and I have found so many sites they offer for sell or that doesn’t exist anymore and why? Because they just wanted to make a few easy bucks or they didn’t have a system that really works and helps people on the long run. You know many people get attract to make money fast and easy but nobody is trying to build a real business that survives tsunamis, hurricanes and earthquakes.

When starting a business it is the same as building a house. You need a strong foundation and a strong structure that it won’t fall apart with the slightest storm you want your house build for long time to go. Because a house is like a business without strong foundation or a long time strategy in your business it will fall apart easily.

So, why I’m telling you this and get you bored. It is easy; I like to help you to build a strong business that will not fall apart like a weak boat with the first storm or heavy sea. You should look for a strong business that will drive you to the goal (harbor) you have aimed for to reach.

Think about it…not always does it matter to have the newest and expensive product that your subscribers don’t know how to use. It is of more value to your subscribers if you teach them how to use a product or a system that they can start. And most importantly they will get something in return for their effort.

If you have almost everything laid out for them the easy way they will thank you for that. They have to trust you that what you offer is a real business they can manage and that they will have a long time business that will bring more and more value over time.

As I mentioned before it doesn’t matter if you have an expensive product or a cheap product, what matters is that you have a system that will last and that will make you money in the long term.

A good solid business model is something with continuity, that means you sell something one time and get paid over and over again.

A business can sometimes result in more profit selling a low-priced item than a high-priced item because of the continuity of sales.
